Summary: Our studio unit was just what we wanted; a short stroll to the restaurants and supermarkets.The unit we had was a 'Lockwood style', so lots of timber. We wanted a base for 3 days to visit relatives. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well; we didn't cook meals but could have as the kitchen seemed well equipped. Everything in the unit was for 2 people, so 2 wine glasses etc. The exterior of the property is a bit unkempt; this could have been due to the wild weather we experienced but I still think a bit of a grounds tidy-up would not go amiss. Access was via a lock-box, so no reception. Our email indicated that the on-site cleaners did not speak English; however we found them very good and helpful.. We were able to communicate through a phone based language translation app, and it worked well. Would we stay there again, yes. It was great value for money.
